We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Automation Test Developer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. Your work will ensure high-quality releases and a seamless user experience. In this foundational role, you’ll design and evolve a resilient automated test framework that reflects real-world use cases. Your insights will guide thoughtful interpretation of test results throughout the development process. When issues arise, you’ll support the team in understanding where, why and how they occurred. With nearly 1,000 technical and business professionals, our team is committed to helping users succeed and empowering you to grow into a confident, capable developer.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated test scripts for mobile applications using frameworks like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similarDevelop and maintain robust test frameworks for mobile testingCollaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coveragePerform code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automationAnalyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams to resolve issuesDocument and communicate software issues found during automated and manual testingMonitor and maintain test environments and devices/emulatorsContinuously improve automation strategies and expand test coverageRequirements2+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilitiesProfessional experience in mobile test automationProficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, JavaScript)Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and more)Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their testing challengesKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins) for automated deployments and test executionExperience with version control systems (Git)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldRecommended QualificationsExperience working in ArcGIS platform technologiesKnowledge of performance and security testing for mobile appsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesISTQB or other QA certificationsQuick to learn and adapt to emerging technologiesMaster’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
