emagine is looking for a Mobile Test Engineer to one of our amazing clients in StockholmStart: ASAPEnd: 2025-12-31Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)About the assignment:emagine is looking for a skilled Mobile Test Engineer to help design and test Financial Services solutions.You will be part of a collaborative engineering team working on products directly aligned with client’s vision of reaching a billion active users.Our teams work closely with design, content, and product departments to build, test, and iterate on innovative solutions to customer problems.Key ResponsibilitiesMobile and POS TestingImplement and maintain automation frameworks using XCUI Test, Espresso, and AppiumConduct thorough testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platformsPerform POS (Point of Sale) functional testingExecute payment gateway and card testing proceduresAPI and Backend TestingDevelop and execute API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or similar toolsValidate payment APIs and backend servicesImplement automation for backend services using Selenium and JavaUnderstand and test SOA/Web Services architecturesEnd-to-End TestingCoordinate and execute comprehensive end-to-end testingCollaborate with various vertical and cross-functional teamsParticipate in continuous integration and release processesSupport weekly code deployments with thorough quality assuranceTechnical SkillsStrong experience with UI and service automation for web and mobile applicationsMobile automation expertise (Android/iOS using Espresso/XCUITest/Appium)Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNGExperience with API testing tools like PostmanKnowledge of source control systems, particularly GitFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven/AntTop Must-have Hard SkillsWe’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience.Mobile and POS TestingStrong automation experience on IOS & Android using XCUI Test, Espresso and AppiumAPI Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools and understanding of payment APIs and backend service validationPOS Functional Testing, Payment Gateway & Card TestingMust be capable of executing end-to-end testing in coordination with various vertical and cross-functional teamsBonus QualificationsDevelopment backgroundExperience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl)Understanding of ECI/ECD pipelinesKnowledge of Agile methodologiesA bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineeringDomain KnowledgeUnderstanding of payment systems and financial servicesWorking knowledge of In-Store Payments industry (Card, NFC, QR) is an advantageExperience with payment gateways and transaction processing
