Role PurposeThe purpose of this role is to develop and drive profitable sales through effective plans, targets and growth in support of the business sales strategic objectives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, or related field (Master’s degree advantageous). Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a senior sales or operational leadership role. Proven track record in managing teams, driving sales performance, and client service excellence. Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and financial or budget controls.

10 years’ experience in the financial services / Insurance industry (desirable)Duties & Responsibilities(The responsibilities of the incumbent include but are not limited to)Strategic & Operational LeadershipImplement and manage regional sales strategies aligned with overall business goals. Develop and execute risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks. Build and leverage market and competitor intelligence to enhance regional tactics. Drive reduction of wastage and fraud and manage early duration claims effectively. Ensure compliance with legislative and internal policies, promoting ethical standards. Client-Centric ExcellenceDefine and influence service models to enhance client satisfaction and value chain integration.

Foster a culture of service excellence and fair treatment of clients. Align service offerings with client needs through strategic direction and relationship building. Evaluate and improve client service delivery and stakeholder engagement. People LeadershipLead and mentor the region’s sales managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. Create a positive and productive work environment that energizes teams. Demonstrate exemplary leadership and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Execute effective workforce planning and performance management. Identify and support employee development and growth opportunities. Financial ManagementCompile and manage regional budgets in alignment with tactical plans.
