KenyaMonitoring and Evaluation OfficerOrganizationMission for Essential Drugs and SuppliesPosted 28 Oct 2025 Closing date 5 Nov 2025Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) is a faith-based health solutions provider founded by an ecumenical partnership of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) and the Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK). The Organization’s core mandate is being a reliable provider for quality and affordable Health Products and Technologies, Quality Assurance and Health Systems Strengthening Services. MEDS was established in 1986 and serves clients spread throughout Kenya, other regions in Africa and beyond.The position will report to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and will be responsible for implementing, designing and coordinating monitoring, evaluation and learning activities across MEDS operations. It ensures data-driven decision making through effective performance tracking, analysis and reporting aligned with MEDS strategic objectives and requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport implementation of the organization’s MEL framework ensuring alignment with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Develop and maintain data collection tools, trackers and performance dashboards to monitor organizational performanceBuild capacity of staff in data collection methods, tools, MEL framework, indicator tracking and reporting to enhance data management skillsConduct routine data quality assessments to verify accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data collected and reported by organizational functionsTrack key organization activities against set targets to monitor progress and identify issues of concernUpdate dashboards and scorecards to monitor performancePrepare periodic progress reports to support decision-makingAssess organizational performance against set targets to evaluate progress and outcomesValidate process outputs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with set objectivesDocument success stories, produce periodic publications and evidence-based abstracts to showcase achievementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation/Public Health/Statistics/Data science/Health Records and Information Management or related fieldProficiency in MEL tools and software (Excel, Power BI, KoboToolbox etc.)At least 5 years of relevant experienceAdvanced certification in data science analytics for large data sets e.g. R, STATA, Epi Info is an added advantageFunctional Skills; Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Data analysis and dissemination skills, Advanced skills in Excel, Data visualization, MS Office Suite Proficiency, report-writing skillsBehavioural Competencies: Communication skills, problem solving skills, analytical skills, high level of integrity, Keen to detailsIf you fit the profile of this position, please submit your application providing the following MANDATORY requirement:Detailed CV stating your current position and salary, expected salary, telephone number and email addressCopy of National Identity CardHow to applySTEPSClick the link: https://jobs.faidihr.com/Apply and SubmitNote: These positions are open to local hires only.
