Job Title: Field Monitoring Specialist – Food Safety & Environmental HealthJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Field Monitoring Specialist to conduct on-site inspections of food establishments and commercial facilities to ensure compliance with food safety and environmental health standards. The role involves fieldwork, identifying violations, preparing inspection reports, and supporting efforts to improve public health and consumer safety.ResponsibilitiesConduct field inspections of restaurants, cafés, and commercial shops to ensure compliance with food safety and environmental health regulations.Evaluate hygiene practices, food handling, storage conditions, and waste management.Document violations and issue recommendations or corrective action notices.Prepare accurate inspection reports and enter findings into digital systems.Perform follow-up visits to verify corrective actions.Educate business owners and staff on best practices related to hygiene and food safety.Coordinate sample collection when required and follow up on laboratory results.QualificationsDiploma or higher in Food Safety, Environmental Health, Public Health, or related fields.Minimum 1 year of field experience in inspection or food safety.Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and inspection procedures.Ability to work in the field and conduct frequent site visits.Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and digital inspection tools.SkillsField inspection & compliance assessmentFood safety and hygiene knowledgeEnvironmental health practicesDocumentation & reportingProblem-solving & attention to detailCommunication & teamworkTime managementWork EnvironmentField-based role involving regular site visits.Requires adherence to safety procedures and professional conduct.
