We’re working with a leading organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist for a permanent role based in DublinThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end order management process. As a Supply Chain Specialist, your primary focus will be to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products—from order placement through to final delivery—by collaborating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately receive, review, and process customer orders in a timely manner. Verify order details including pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements. Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to meet customer expectations. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and replenishment. Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce stockouts and overstocking. Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as backorders, substitutions, and delivery discrepancies. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders and delivery timelines.

Identify and drive process improvements within the order management function. Develop initiatives to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills: 3 years' experience in supply chain with a strong emphasis on order management, inventory control, and logistics. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Proficient in ERP and order management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce. Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and implement actionable insights.
