The firm is expanding its Japan-based Global Markets team and seeks an experienced FX sales professional to drive client engagement and macro flows with financial institutions in Japan. The OpportunityThis is a Director-level front-office role within the Global Markets division, focused on originating and executing macro/FX flow business with Japanese financial institutions.

The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, contribute to the growth of the FX franchise in Japan, and collaborate closely with internal trading desks, sales leadership, and control functions.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow client relationships across Japanese financial institutions (banks, lifers, asset managers)Drive FX and macro product sales with a focus on delivering tailored solutions and proactive market coverageExecute trades across a range of FX products, ensuring accuracy, speed, and alignment with client needsProvide market insights, trade ideas, and execution excellence to build long-term client trustCollaborate with internal stakeholders including trading, compliance, and control functionsMentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of performance and integrityCandidate ProfileMinimum 10 years of experience in FX sales or macro product roles, ideally with financial institutionsStrong technical understanding of FX platforms, pricing tools, and execution mechanicsProven sales track record and ability to build trusted client relationships from working to senior levelsProactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindsetFluency in English; Japanese language proficiency is a plus
