What You Will be DoingProvide support to various networking products and technologies such as routing, switching, security system management, load balancing, optimization, and security.
Perform troubleshooting activities and identify single points of failure/risks to the business and provide reasonable solutions to remediate the risk. Monitor and analyze network and related system performance and provide reports on a regular basis identifying hotspots. Perform daily ticket maintenance. Actively monitor and react to real-time network conditions to quickly identify and react to issues and outages. Maintain and update network infrastructure including, but not limited to WAN Optimization, Wireless Controllers and Access Points, network switches, and packet tracer/analyzer software. Contribute and offer support for the overall ITIL Roadmap strategy for the company.
Prepares and follows detailed documentation, standards, and guidelines for data, and wireless systems. Take correction action to improve system performance, travel to off-site locations to perform related work as required. Actively participate in strategy and business meetings as needed.
