Adecco's Banking & Finance team is currently recruiting for a client, a renowned player in the Insurance industry for a Motor Claims Specialist.Responsibilities: Manage and evaluate Own Damage (OD) and Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD) claims, covering investigations, liability assessment, and damage evaluation.Conduct detailed investigations and collaborate with surveyors, workshops, legal teams, and other relevant stakeholders.Negotiate and settle claims with policyholders, third parties, workshops, and representatives to achieve fair and cost-efficient resolutions. Handle complex or escalated cases and effectively resolve disputes.Maintain clear and transparent communication with claimants, policyholders, repairers, distributors, and third-party representatives, ensuring timely updates throughout the claims process. Partner with internal teams—including Product, Underwriting, Distribution, Legal, and Risk—to ensure alignment on coverage, policy intent, and technical matters.Ensure all claims activities comply with Malaysia/Singapore motor insurance regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines.Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation, including reports, records, and claim reserving. Analyze claims trends, performance indicators, and cost drivers to identify areas for improvement.Contribute to process enhancement initiatives and support the continuous improvement of claims handling standards.Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise to strengthen overall team capability.Stay informed on regulatory developments, industry best practices, and market trends impacting motor claims.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma or degree from a recognized institution.At least 5 years of experience managing motor claims (OD or TPPD) within the Malaysia or Singapore insurance market.Strong knowledge of motor insurance policies, claims procedures, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure.Adaptable, open-minded, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
