POSITION SUMMARY: A successful Regional Vice President of New Coach Sales (Private Sector) will work as an integral part of the private-sector sales team to generate new business opportunities, support existing sales functions, and serve as a liaison between the sales department and other internal departments for both new and pre-owned coaches. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Responsible for the management and development of new accounts in Canada. Execute specific sales growth initiatives with primary focus on prospects for existing and new customersInitiate and participate in on-site sales calls/visitsParticipate-in new coach demonstrations as well as new coach deliveries to customersProfessionally represent MCI and present at programs and/or national conferences and trade showsGenerate leads from tradeshows and regional networking eventsHelp customers define their coach needsResponsible for owning the sales cycle from qualification of lead to closure of the dealResearch and monitor the market Forecast territory salesPrepare weekly activity reportsWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Bachelor's Degree strongly desired, preferably in sales, transportation or business administration5 years of demonstrated consecutive periods of sales excellence in long cycle sales; preferably in the transportation, logistics, parts/material supplier or product development industriesBilingual in English and French is preferredPrior experience with lead generation based on incoming inquiries, existing lists and contacts, as well as cold callingExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills requiredStrong business acumenA self-started with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with minimum supervisionComputer skills - MS Office projectsMust live within territory and near major airportValid Commercial Drivers' License (with air brake and passenger endorsements).
