Senior Lead Accountant

Our client is a global accounting firm based in Budapest, Hungary, providing services that include accounting, tax advisory, payroll, and corporate solutions. We are excited to present an opportunity to join their team as a Senior Lead Accountant, playing a key role in ensuring local operations run smoothly while delivering an outstanding client experience on an international scale. Responsibilities:

Coordination of a professional team of 5-6 accountants, emphasizing effective people management skills to foster a collaborative and productive work environment Supervision and verification of the activities of team members to ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and practices Compiling detailed weekly and monthly client reports that provide valuable insights into financial performance and inform strategic decision-making Preparation of necessary documentation and thorough maintenance of accurate records to support auditing processes and ensure transparency in financial operations Being hands-on and actively involved in tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success by stepping in to support team members during peak times or when challenges arise Requirements Approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting firm, preferably with an international client portfolio Strong proficiency in English Demonstrated leadership skills Desire to advance in a leadership-driven career path Proven experience in maintaining client relationships and managing accounting and financial responsibilities at a senior level Benefits Competitive salary Cafeteria allowance English language course Annual training allowance for professional and leadership courses Spacious, cozy office near Nyugati Pályaudvar Coffee, fruits, bike storage Friendly atmosphere Home office option (2 days a week)
