Job DescriptionDXC Technology Egypt is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to join our Modern Application Development Group. This team plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end digital transformation projects for our retail clients. As a Retail Consultant, you will lead the implementation and optimization of D365 Commerce and POS solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design customer-centric retail experiences.ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) modules, including POS (MPOS/CPOS), Store Management, Pricing, Promotions, Loyalty, and eCommerce integrationConduct workshops and gather detailed business requirements related to retail operations, store processes, merchandising, and omnichannel salesTranslate retail business requirements into scalable D365 Retail solutions aligned with best practices and Microsoft standardsDefine business processes, create functional design documents (FDDs), and support solution architecture in collaboration with technical teamsDrive system testing, UAT, training sessions, go-live, and post-go-live support in retail and POS environmentsCoordinate with technical teams to support POS device setup, extension requirements, and integration with payment gateways or fiscal printersManage retail-specific data entities such as assortments, catalogs, channels, and registersGuide customers on hardware recommendations for POS terminals, peripherals (printers, scanners, cash drawers), and offline scenariosAct as a subject matter expert for store operations, omnichannel order processing, and retail back-office activitiesMaintain strong client relationships through value-driven consulting, stakeholder engagement, and proactive supportDesired Skills And Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce implementationsProven experience with POS setup, configuration, and deployment (MPOS/CPOS architecture)Strong understanding of retail business processes: pricing, promotions, loyalty, inventory control, store replenishment, and omni-channel salesDeep knowledge of Retail HQ, Store Commerce, Hardware Station, and Retail peripherals configurationExperience in conducting fit-gap analysis and translating requirements into solution designsFamiliarity with Commerce Channel Configuration, Retail Workflows, Payment Connectors, and Fraud ProtectionProficiency in writing FDDs, business process flows, and test cases for retail modulesKnowledge of integration between D365 Retail and external eCommerce or ERP systems (Finance/Supply Chain)Experience working with global retail clientsNice To Have SkillsExposure to Power Platform for retail automation or reportingFamiliarity with ISVs like LS Retail or Omnichannel extensionsExperience with D365 eCommerce site builder and storefront configurationBasic understanding of X++ or Commerce SDK for POS extension collaborationSoft SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong customer engagement and stakeholder management capabilitiesAnalytical mindset with attention to process optimization and user experienceAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environmentProactive problem-solver with a client-first attitudeAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
