MSREI currently manages $54 billion of gross real estate assets worldwide on behalf of its clients.Position DescriptionThe individual will play an integral role across all aspects of MSREI’s flagship European Core Fund. This role would uniquely position the candidate to collaborate with global teams and senior management of MSREI. In addition to the undertakings listed below, strong analytical / problem solving skills and attention to detail are critical to success in this position, alongside the ability to multitask and efficiently utilize resources.Creating Fund performance analysis and benchmarkingPortfolio analytics including modelling of business plans and liquidity, capital requirements and fund KPIsClosely collaborating with the investment teams on asset management, business planning and budgetingAssisting with the coordination of quarterly valuation/ valuation committee processPreparing presentations for investors and internal stakeholdersCollaborate within the MSREI platform on capital raising efforts, technology, ESG and researchAssist with investor queries / requests including DDQs, RFPs and other capital raising related data requestsQualificationsEnthusiasm to contribute to a great team with a strong work ethic and a drive to winDedicated team player that cares about the team’s cultureBA/BS required3-6 years of experience in a real estate organization, real estate private equity fund or real estate division of an investment bankStrong analytical and data management skillsHigh degree of proficiency with Excel, combined with a willingness to explore new technologiesSkills That Will Help You In The RoleSuccessful candidate will have strong communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues from all over the world, portfolio management, asset management, external advisers and investorsAbility to work within a team and under tight deadlines with limited supervisionCommitted to delivering the highest quality work product, strong attention to detailProactive, self-motivated and goal-orientedAbility to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasksCuriosity and willingness to evolve and to keep on learningWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyWe are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
