Job DescriptionDesignation: CAE Engineer [CoE]Reporting to: Lead Engineer Location: Bangalore,Qualification: B.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Automotive EngineeringExperience: 3-4 yearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking outstanding engineer in FEA Analysis (preferably diverse product range] He / She should have strong modeling skills & is experienced in using simulation tools to solve complex engineering problems & prove the hypotheses. Corelate the actual application conditions into simulation models. Uses best practices & knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently & able to guide others.Key Responsibilities / FunctionsDevelop FE models to analyze the problems related to structural and flow domain by thoroughly translating application conditions.Proactively validate / correlate results with real world data & makes model improvements as deemed necessary.Interpret analysis results with respect to results obtained by lab testing procedures, converting these results into practical design suggestions.Generates high quality engineering test reports & presents CAE results/conclusions to the design engineering community.Support development of CAE [FEA] methods related to new technologies.Personal Characteristics and Attributes Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies Good business communication (written/verbal) Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/ supervision. Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities. Ability & willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally when required.Required Qualifications: (Technical Skills/Knowledge) Strong fundamentals of Structural mechanics, elastomers and polymers Experience in analyzing water softeners is an advantage Must have hands on experience in FEA modelling of industrial components, subsystems & systems with good knowledge in domains like Linear, Nonlinear & Dynamic analysis. Strong understanding of Material, Geometry & Contact nonlinearity Exposure to commercially available FEA analysis tool ANSYS (Workbench & Classic). APDL knowledge is desirable. Knowledge of CAD Tools (SolidWorks) / space claim is a must. Experienced in FE meshing. Good English communication skill, both written & verbal Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint
