We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on a 3&1 or 10&4 rotation on major Data Centre projects across Europe You will work closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, and Clients to develop and oversee electrical design solutions from concept through to construction. This roles requires technical precision, strong coordination skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients and project managers to review technical specifications and recommend optimal engineering solutionsProduce detailed electrical designs and technical drawings for containment systems, cable routing, and associated componentsTroubleshoot design challenges and develop solutions to accommodate other services and systemsExtract accurate measurements from BIM models (Revit/Navisworks) and apply to design layoutsUse BIM software to assess site requirements and identify potential coordination issuesLead the development and review of electrical design scopes with internal teams and client stakeholdersPrepare technical documentation including plans, schedules, cost estimates, and bid packagesAssess technical data for compliance with contract specifications and highlight areas for clarification or resolutionCreate and maintain technical submittals, equipment registers, and approval trackersIssue and follow up on submittals to secure material and equipment approvals in a timely mannerConduct ongoing design and installation quality checks to maintain project standardsUphold and evolve MTM’s internal electrical design standards, templates, and best practicesProvide mentorship and support to junior engineers, fostering professional development and knowledge sharingEssential RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years’ experience in electrical design and coordination, preferably within industrial or data centre environmentsStrong technical knowledge of electrical containment, cable routing, and BIM coordinationProficient in Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and project deliverySelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesFluent in English (minimum C2 level), both written and spokenEU citizenship or the ability to travel freely within the EUMTM Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
