Job summaryManage Business Intelligence, Performance Reporting, and Financial Analysis activities within the Home division, aligning efforts towards achieving revenue, subscriber, and non-financial KPIs. Key Tasks: Provide expertise in financial modeling, data visualization, and business performance reporting to support Home Sales, Fibre Development, and Customer Management in meeting their financial goals.
Ensure effective management of Home operating expenditure relative to the budget, while accurately recording and interpreting financial information to drive the success of Home operations and strategic plansSupport the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing the Division’s processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (i. e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).
Participate in the review of Business Processes (headcount, process optimization etc), to drive efficiencyMonitor and review on product profitability and market segment performance trendsSupport the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Home processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I. e. Grow Data Revenue, Subscriber Growth etc). Translate targets and strategies into operational plans, ensuring alignment to business strategy, driving the execution thereof and taking corrective actions where necessary.
Develop and execute plans for sustainable Business Planning & Performance ReportingSupport the business operations divisions and work with cross-functional teams including Project/Demand Management, Design, Revenue Assurance, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Regulatory, Go-To-Market, Business Intelligence teams to launch propositions/offers, products & servicesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and enhanced operational efficiencies including special focus on business planning and business performance reportingGenerate periodic product performance assessment reports and reviewProvide micro and macro environment insights – economic factors, competitor analysis etc. , and effective recommendations to drive revenue growth and mitigate identified risks.
Manage periodic data queries, extraction, validation and reporting processesTransform raw data into visual representation for reporting and quality decision making. Review trends in the telecommunications industry and provide insights into issues and events that could be factored into the business planning process as it affects Home operations and services. Develop and maintain database of records, data and information that are relevant to the telecommunications industry and useful for planning and optimization of Home business activities. Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field of studyRelevant professional certification is a plus. Experience:
5 years working experience in Market Research and Insights Generation,Advanced use of excel, reporting tools, statistical applications and financial modellingAt least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position, in a dynamic and fast-moving industryProfessional/Technical competencies: Good Knowledge in Statistical and other Applications/software e. g.
