Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.How You Will Create An ImpactAs Bermuda Hub Claims Manager â Multinational Captive Reinsurance Service Operations, you will work within the Claims and Reinsurance Recoverables team of the Multinational Accounts Department. You will be responsible for supervising a team in the completion of complex account reconciliations, preparation of monthly reports and the resolution and clearance of outstanding balances, as well as completing these tasks directly for the most complex accounts.Correspond with clients and reinsurers on outstanding balancesReconcile complex intercompany and non-intercompany statements and accounts in accordance with corporate standards and strict deadlinesHandle full process of reinsurance recoveries on a range of complex accountsMaintenance of the account profileMonitoring and ensuring completeness of issuance of billsMonitoring and preparation of loss escrow adequacyEnsuring bill adjustments are cleared correctlyPreparing stats as needed regarding billing KPIsKeeping abreast of major relationship issues on all accounts and intervening in communications where necessaryEnsuring ad hoc requests (e.g. loss runs, audit requests) are completed and issued promptlyManaging a team of claims coordinators in all day-to-day, as well as all HR-related issues Assisting staff with clearance of problem accounts/issuesCommunicating with clients regarding any of the above tasksTraining of staff in all aspects of the above tasksReview and maintain effective internal controlsAny other related duties as assignedWhat You Will Need To SucceedA minimum of 10 years of experience in a multinational insurance/reinsurance environment is requiredRecognized insurance qualification an advantageStrong analytical abilities essential, particularly in relation to understanding of reinsurance layeringsExcellent knowledge of and experience in working with Excel and OutlookAbility to find imaginative solutions to complex process issuesPossess a thorough understanding of the transactional flow of losses through a global insurance networkProven experience managing direct reports and training and developing staffMust be a motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative, produce accurate work and meet deadlines in a very demanding work environmentBachelorâs degree desired.Ready to make a bigger impact?
