We are now looking to strengthen our Global Security Team (GST) by welcoming a Cyber Security Analyst. As a Regional Security Team member, you will take part of EU regional CSIRT and SOC operations and work closely with our GST operations Centre in Japan and with other regions.

Main responsibilities are all Murata affiliates in Europe in CSIRT role. You will report to the Regional Security Team leader in Europe. Your role responsibilities and key activities. Incident Detection and Response: - Identify and analyze security alerts from various security platforms (e. g. , SIEM, EDR). - Identify potential security incidents through proactive monitoring and threat hunting. - Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis. Incident Coordination: - Work closely with affiliate IT teams, GST SOC/CSIRT operations and other stakeholders to coordinate response efforts. - Document incident response activities, including the timeline of events, impact analysis, and lessons learned.

- Escalate incidents to higher levels of management, as necessary. Reporting: - Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including analysis, mitigation steps, and recommendations for future prevention. - Contribute to the development of security metric and KPIs for continuous improvement of the incident response process. Continuous Improvements: - Participate in post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in incident response. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks. - Participate in regular training exercises and simulations to enhance incident response capabilities. Requirements to be successful as a Cyber Security Analyst. Qualification and Experience:

- Several years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in an incident response role. - Experience with common security tools (SIEM, EDR) and techniques. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. Equivalent experience though will be considered. - CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification or similar certification are highly desirable. Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously. - Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. - Familiarity with networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack methods.

- Fluent communication skills in English. This is a permanent, full-time employment contract based in Vantaa and the start date is negotiable. Position includes business trips mainly inside EU area and occasionally also to Japan or other Murata locations. Work is mainly on daytime shift. However, when security incidents occur, on-call duty is needed. Some meetings between Japan or other regions can also be in early mornings or evenings. The role is very independent and it is possible to work partly remotely. This position requires security clearance from National Security Service.
