About UsWe are leaders in mental health service delivery, specialising in working with adults and young people, and in early childhood intervention.Stride is a name that expresses our ambition – it’s a name that’s purposeful and shows awareness of the important role we play in the recovery journey.On OfferBased in Springwood, QLDPart time (0.5FTE), fixed-term position until 30/06/2027Paying on HPSS Level 3 plus SuperSalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentExcellent training and career developmentRole OverviewThe Music Therapist is responsible for individual and group sessions to people aged 16 years and older with moderate to severe mental health needsYou will be expected to function autonomously, as well as work collaboratively with the other clinicians within the programYou will participate in the planning and development of services for people with mental health issues and their families which are consistent with best practice standards and evidence-based careRequirementsMust have one of the following: Registration with ANZACATA or AMTAKnowledge and Skills which are gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environmentProven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planningSound understating of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community settingDemonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illnessDemonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasksExcellent verbal communication and writing skillsProven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentialityMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue CardMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance Stride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
