Business Tech Director

Now we are looking for an experienced leader to drive the next phase of the growth and join our IT organization as a Business Tech Director!As Business Tech Director you will lead our core business tech functions including SCM, ERP, HR, and store systems. You will manage globally distributed teams handling data, integrations, infrastructure and end-user services and drive IT service lifecycle management – from processes and applications to hardware and software. Your responsibilities include:

Overseeing internal tools and IT ways of working, continuously improving operationsWorking closely with PMO and IT management to plan and execute development projects and upgradesOwning IT budgets and cost centers – forecast, manage, and optimizeLeading sourcing and vendor management, including contract negotiations and service level monitoringCollaborating with executive leaders to develop strategic IT roadmaps that support future growthChampioning customer-centric support, ensuring outstanding service and fast issue resolutionSupporting M&A activities, including tech due diligence and integrationEngaging in PRI/RFP processes, and stay ahead with agile methodologies and emerging technologiesThe position is based in Helsinki and you’ll report to CIO Carl Borg.

You are set to to succeed, if you have: 10+ years of proven success in IT leadership roles, ideally in retail or online business across multinational environmentsDeep understanding of modern technology landscapes and business-aligned IT developmentTrack record in ERP implementations and rolling out business-critical tech solutionsFluency in both Finnish and English (written and spoken)We are looking for an inspirational and value driven leader who thrives both in strategic leadership and in hands-on execution. You are a strong communicator with a solution oriented approach and the ability to drive change, get things done and bring people with you.
