The classroom environment should be well planned and organized, be stimulating, and engaging, providing high quality instruction and learning, underpinned by the ability to deliver inquiry-based, transdisciplinary units, where applicable, across the three IB programmes.All teachers need to work collaboratively with others in their section, and across sections, and liaise effectively with the IB Coordinators, in the development implementation and review of the curriculum, assessment and reporting.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Teaching MYP English Language AcquisitionHomeroom teacher dutiesActive member of the school communityAll teachers are expected to contribute to the development of the academic and pastoral curriculum, working independently and as part of the team. Supervision of after-school activitiesIn addition, the teacher is expected to undertake any other reasonable task assigned by the Head of Middle & High School and the Co-Head of School. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Bachelor of Education in English Language Acquisition and Teaching Certification in English Language Acquisition. At least 3 year experience in international schoolsExcellent organisational skills and a proven record of setting up quality teaching and learning programmes specifically related to English Language AcquisitionNative or near-native level of written and spoken EnglishAn independent and entrepreneurial self-starter able to work alone and with colleagues across a range of backgroundsExcellent communication, teaching and interpersonal skillsEnthusiastic about working in an international environmentExperience of the IB’s Middle Years Programme would be highly desired, and experience of Diploma Programme would be desirableSAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
