With decades of experience, we know how to navigate retail systems and deliver results for our clientsJob Summary The National Account Manager will manage all activities related to sales and relationship with Canadian Tire, in Toronto, ON. This responsibility entails managing a portfolio of accounts and products, forecasting, promotional planning and business development. Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Canadian Tire, managing  manage the day-to-day relationship and address addressing service-related inquiries.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies and goals to meet business objectives.Forecasting and Planning: Create product forecasts and promotional plans for the assigned account.Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key contacts up to the executive level.Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive growth by increasing product/service adoption, based on knowledge of customer and category.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing and sales, as well as external partners like brokers and retailers, to align on solutions and strategies.Data Analysis: Analyze sales and market data to provide actionable insights and develop effective presentations and proposals.  Education and Experience ProfileBachelor's degree in Business or related field required.5 to 7 years direct sales/field experience.Direct selling experience with Big Box Retail required. Required SkillsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and create insightful presentations. Fact based selling detail oriented. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.A strong understanding of sales fundamentals like distribution, pricing, and promotion.Acquire new business and develop business in existing CMI portfolio. Organization and prioritization skills.Must be proficient in Canadian Tire Vendor portals.Effective time management, detail oriented and accurate. accuracy.Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.High level of integrity. Work Environment CMI offers the ability to work from home. However, the role requires location to be within the GTA.
