So channel your childhood sales persona and apply today to be goodr’s National Sales Manager, Sports!!!ResponsibilitiesProspect, qualify, engage, and convert new retail accounts in the active sports and sporting goods market while nurturing existing retailer relationshipsBuild joint business plans with key accounts and recommend long-term growth strategies Create sales materials tailored to the sports and outdoor retail marketDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to support business successAssist the National Account Director in maintaining and managing the sales pipelineIdentify high-value markets and retailers to expand goodr’s partner networkTrack KPIs, monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and report on metrics to providing accurate sales forecasts for leadershipSupport sales team efforts to upsell key retailers, expand SKU assortment, and increase revenueCoordinate with our Legal team to ensure smooth contract negotiation and follow upWork with customers to determine SKU assortment, in-store merchandising guidelines, contract details and any other planning negotiations that may ariseDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of goodr productsRepresent goodr at trade shows and industry events, supporting all event-related activitiesOccasional travel as needed for meetings and other events Provide timely responses and accurate information to customers and internal departmentsMaintain customer information and sales activities in Salesforce CRMNo direct reports – you get to lead the charge, without managing your fellow flamingosThis role is in the Sales team and will report directly to the National Account DirectorPerform other related duties as assignedAbout The Ideal CandidateMay or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)Loves everything aboveAsks a lot of questions 4+ years of sales experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) Familiarity with the sports, outdoors, and active lifestyle categories is preferredClear understanding of CPG sales processesProven ability to develop and maintain key customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and execute joint business plansSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsKnown for being a master at communication Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Netsuite and Asana is a BIG plus Must be able to present materials comfortably in a group environmentHas a valid drivers’ license and willing to travel as needed (~10%)Loves the work more than a paycheck Thinks planning and organizing are funIs happy to give away credit to their team Loves getting and giving feedback Is into personal growthThinks Fun is being great (not partying) Is proactive and an independent problem solver!
