We are currently seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining system functionality, and ensuring information security compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the company’s Helpdesk to resolve assigned issues and support tickets efficiently. Work with network administrators to ensure the desktop computing environment operates reliably and efficiently. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and essential software applications. Install and support hardware components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, and disk drives.
Provide assistance in accessing and using peripheral devices (printers, copiers, scanners, etc. ). Offer end-user support for Microsoft Office Suite and other approved software. Load and configure software packages, including Operating Systems, drivers, Microsoft applications, and job-specific tools. Recover lost user data using professional recovery tools. Respond to employee inquiries regarding system operations, and diagnose hardware, software, and user-related issues on-site or remotely. Manage user accounts in Active Directory by adding/removing users and updating permissions for Shared Drives. Support and manage the telephone system infrastructure, including integrations with third-party services. Information Security Responsibilities:
Adhere to the company's Information Security Policies and standards. Understand and fulfill individual information security responsibilities. Ensure that anyone handling sensitive company information has completed mandatory Security Awareness Training. Know how to report a potential or actual security incident to the IT Service Desk. Refrain from disabling the operating system firewall or antivirus software at any time. RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferably) in Computer Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications in IT (e. g. , CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly preferred. 5 to 8 years of experience in providing technical support and resolving system-related user issues.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle urgent support scenarios professionally. Working knowledge of Zoho systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory BenefitsCompetitive salary
