With expertise in both construction and ongoing maintenance, Evolve supports a wide range of environmental initiatives and projects.Role DescriptionEvolve Environmental Solutions is seeking a full-time Natural Areas Technician - Team Leader to oversee and participate in the restoration and maintenance of environmentally sensitive landscapes. As part of this on-site role in the Moreton Bay Region, the Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating small teams, managing day-to-day project activities, implementing rehabilitation management plans (RMPs), and ensuring the effective delivery of services such as weed eradication, revegetation, erosion control, and wetland maintenance. The role also involves working closely with project partners to achieve high-quality environmental outcomes.QualificationsExperience in environmental restoration, including weed management, revegetation, and erosion control.Skills in team leadership, coordination, and project management to oversee day-to-day activities and ensure project delivery.Knowledge of ecological systems, plant species identification, and implementation of Rehabilitation Management Plans (RMPs).Proficiency in using tools and techniques for bushland maintenance, wetland construction, and bio-retention basin restoration.Effective communication and organisational skills to liaise with partners and team members and prepare project reports.Certifications or qualifications in environmental science, horticulture, or a related field are beneficial.Driver’s license and the ability to work in various weather conditions on-site.
