Sauer Compressors Canada is currently seeking a Naval Technical Proposal Manager to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating and expediting all phases of the RFQ’s, bids, contracts and/or purchase orders processes to ensure the best possible solutions and deliver performance to the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard.Duties and Responsibilities:·        Create and deliver technical and pricing proposals·        Oversee projects/opportunities from inquiry & proposal build-up through engineering, production, delivery and commissioning.·        Respond to customer requests for revisions to existing quotes and orders·        Process PO’s and collaborate with various team members to expedite orders when PO’s are received·        Work with customers to manage changes to orders that may occur throughout the sales process·        Inform customers on the progress of orders and coordinate required shipping details·        Prepare and present regular monthly progress reports.·        Deliver a high level of customer service in a professional and timely manner.·        Support the production of ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) plans in alignment with project requirements and relevant industry standards.·        Support the development of maintenance concepts, provisioning data, spare parts lists, and technical manuals.Requirements:·        Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical industry experience required ·        Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) within the defense or aerospace industry·        Knowledge of Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) eg: ILS methodologies, defense industry standards and defense industry practices preferred·        Experience with Canadian, U.S., or NATO defense programs is considered an asset·        Familiarity with configuration management processes and technical documentation requirements·        Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across cross-functional teams·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and experience with Salesforce preferred·        The ability to travel, as required, including trade shows, professional seminars, and internal company trainings and events (USA, Europe)·        Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.Benefits & Compensation:·        Salary commensurate with experience·        Company subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment
