Job DescriptionAs a member of our marketing and communications team, you will contribute to advancing the University's strategic goals through the following responsibilities: Contribute to the implementation of the University’s strategy within your area of expertise. Support the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns. Enhance brand awareness of the University, its activities, and academic programs both in Kazakhstan and internationally.

Collaborate with departments to develop and support initiatives that promote the University’s brand and attract students to its programs. Build and manage strategic communications with University partners and service providers. Coordinate effectively with internal units to ensure seamless operations within the department. Plan and manage the department’s budget and monitor expenses regularly; prepare summary financial reports. Support the preparation of documents and reports necessary for the department’s operations. Handle contracts with service providers and oversee timely fulfillment of contractual obligations.

Maintain accurate records, ensure proper document storage and transfer to the University archive in accordance with internal procedures. Participate in annual preparation of the department’s file retention schedule and ensure proper recordkeeping. Manage internal administrative workflows, including the storage and issuance of University-branded secure documents. Provide timely responses to requests from University units within the scope of your responsibilities. Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring risks related to your area. Communicate and collaborate with University units: offer consultations, respond to marketing-related inquiries, and provide guidance on brand promotion and advertising materials.

Advise Schools and departments on marketing strategies and assist in optimizing marketing initiatives and campaigns. Promote the University’s academic programs on international education platforms and develop strategies to attract qualified international applicants. Support the University's internationalization efforts and assist with recruiting international students within your area of responsibility. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Education from English-medium institutions is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience (at least 3 years with a Master’s degree).

Experience in higher education, public relations, marketing, fundraising, or corporate development is highly desirable. Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing and communications principles. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media, websites, email marketing, online advertising, and analytics. Knowledge of sales, especially in the context of educational programs and seminars. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Solid grasp of business communication practices. Fluent in English, Kazakh, and Russian. Additional InformationSkills: Analytical writing and presentation skills. Project and change management abilities. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build effective working relationships.

Teamwork, adaptability, empathy, and emotional resilience. High level of responsibility and leadership qualities. Event planning and coordination experience. Additional Requirements: Familiarity with CRM systems, budgeting, and integrated marketing communications. Applicants must have a job permit to work in Kazakhstan.
