Position Title:Project Dietitian (Graduate / Near-Graduate)Employment Type:Full-time, fixed-term contract (2 months)Location:On-site and hybrid; based at Therapy Kitchen (Ascot Vale, Melbourne) with flexibility for some remote workAbout the RoleFamily Dietetics is seeking a motivated graduate or near-graduate dietitian to join our team for a two-month full-time project role. The successful applicant will play a key role in the development and delivery of educational resources for an upcoming professional course designed for dietitians and healthcare professionals.This is an exciting opportunity for a dietitian at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience in nutrition education, course development, and applied project work. You’ll work closely with the Lead Dietitian to bring high-quality, evidence-based learning materials to life, under tight project timelines and with clear deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Lead Dietitian and project team to create educational content for a new professional development course.Develop and refine course resources, including, learning activities, handouts, case studies, and visual materials.Conduct literature reviews and background research to support evidence-based content.Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of written materials, references, and data.Assist in the design and layout of learning resources using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.Participate in planning meetings, provide input on structure, tone, and flow, and contribute creative ideas for enhancing engagement.Work to firm deadlines, ensuring milestones are achieved in line with project timelines.Support testing and refinement of draft materials prior to final release.Key Skills and AttributesNear completion of an Accredited Dietetics Program or recent graduate APD-eligible dietitian.Strong knowledge of nutrition science and evidence-based practice.Excellent written communication and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency with Canva, PowerPoint, and Project software (or willingness to learn quickly).Interest in education, resource development, or digital learning highly desirable.Supervision & SupportThe Project Dietitian will work under the direct supervision of Brooke Harcourt, APD, with regular check-ins and feedback.
