UI/UX Designer - Visual Experience & Design SystemsHybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, CanadaExperience: 5+ YearsRole Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our engineering team working on a project with a Fortune 500 product company. This role focuses on delivering high-quality visual design and scalable UI systems across enterprise visualization tools, including a large-scale 3D model viewer platform.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the creation of scalable, reusable UI patterns aligned with an enterprise-grade design systemDeliver intuitive, elegant visual interfaces across layout, typography, and microinteractionsCollaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to shape scalable design solutionsTranslate complex ideas into high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and production-ready UI assetsPresent design work clearly and effectively to stakeholders and global teamsContribute to a global design community and uphold visual excellence standardsMust-Have SkillsProficient in design systems and reusable UI component librariesStrong grasp of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and Gestalt principlesExperience visualizing and prototyping across multiple fidelities (sketches to pixel-perfect designs)Confidently presenting designs and rationale to technical and non-technical audiencesHands-on with industry tools for mockups, prototyping, and visual designNice-to-Have SkillsFamiliarity with interaction design techniques (wireframes, user flows, rapid prototyping)Experience applying animation or motion design principlesExposure to architecture, engineering, or design software environmentsInterest in AI-driven UX and emerging interaction modelsComfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, iterative environmentsApply now, or share your resume with salary expectations at careers@nearsource.
