Neemba Group is looking for a Mining Site Project Manager, based on a mining site (Ivory Coast & Guinéa). MISSIONSOperational Management & Project CoordinationCoordinate, implement, execute, control, and complete all mining site activities in line with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting quality, performance, and timeline objectives. Supervise on-site and off-site operations, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs, internal policies, and OEM guidelines. Act as the primary point of contact for the client on all technical and operational matters. Team Leadership & SafetyLead and motivate a team of technicians, mechanics, and parts personnel.
Ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment. Develop team skills through continuous training and coaching. Guarantee strict compliance with HSE rules and OEM standards. Planning, Monitoring & ReportingDevelop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans (daily, weekly, monthly, annual). Implement a Condition Monitoring Program including: electronic data monitoring, SOS analysis, visual inspections, operator interviews, performance tests, fuel consumption tracking, etc. Produce weekly and monthly reports covering: equipment availability, downtime, parts trends, fuel consumption, major component status, MTBS/MTTR indicators, VIMS analysis. Monitor and update budget forecasts, spare parts plans, and manpower requirements.
Technical & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with Caterpillar standards and maintenance procedures. Conduct or supervise technical investigations on complex failures, including warranty cases. Control the quality of interventions and parts used, in line with industrial cleanliness standards (IC). Develop and apply maintenance, repair, and quality control procedures. Administrative Management & Client RelationsPrepare and follow up on service contracts, quotes, and parts orders. Monitor payments and invoicing. Lead weekly meetings with the client to present results, review needs, and plan actions. Build strong, long-term relationships with the client to ensure high satisfaction levels.
PROFILE REQUIREDEducation & ExperienceTechnical degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mining Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum of 8 years’ proven experience in managing mining site operations, including multicultural team leadership. Expertise in heavy equipment maintenance (Caterpillar or equivalent), fleet management, and condition monitoring. Technical SkillsProficiency in VIMS, FPO, ET systems, and condition monitoring tools. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and performance KPIs (availability, MTTR, MTBS, etc. ). In-depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems, and HSE standards. Ability to analyze technical data to anticipate maintenance and parts needs. Personal QualitiesStrong leadership and ability to unite teams towards common objectives.
Excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders (clients, teams, management). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure. Proactive, results-driven mindset. Specific ConstraintsPosition based on a mining site, with rotations according to company schedule. Remote working environment. Occasional travel for off-site meetings or training.
