We know that empowerment leads to strong employee engagement, a great work culture, and motivated employeesPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support the consolidation and analysis of financial results across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
This role will act as a key liaison between local and global stakeholders, maintain and enhance financial reporting systems (SAP and non-SAP), enrich operational reporting and forecasting, and deliver insightful analyses to support business decisions. A day in the life of a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst: Analyzes and reports consolidated financial results (monthly, quarterly, and annual). Users include local management and Nestlé Group management.
Works closely with the operating divisions and corporate functional groups, above market integrated business teams and business contacts at the worldwide headquartersMaintain and enhance financial reporting systems (SAP and non-SAP interfaces) acting as a super user and administratorGathers and interprets financial information effectively and forms data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issuesCollaborate with organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend process and system modifications, and develop standards for various reporting processes.
Deliver tools and analysis to help drive the digital transformation in FinanceTrain and coach finance users in adoption and implementation of analytical tools and address system issues identified by the business stakeholders. Build and maintain cash flow models for planning and reforecasting purposesConduct variance analysis and ad hoc financial modeling to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve FP&A processes and reporting accuracyLeads and manages projects relating to financial reporting/accounting operations initiatives, as assigned, such as working capital analysis, impairment testing, and integration of acquisitions and/or disposals of businessesParticipate in finance transformation initiatives, automation of reporting tools and assist in change management and readiness assessments for new financial systemsWhat will make you successful?Bachelor’s degree required, with major in Finance/Accounting. CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in financial reporting or corporate financeSAP system experience preferredExcellent computer skills (PowerBI, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
SAP would be an asset. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret dataWell-organized, methodical thinkerStrong and creative problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft office applications (e. g. Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
