Network and Security Engineer

Network and Security Engineer Location : Brussels Languages : English AND French or Dutch Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain secure network architecture.Configure, patch, and manage firewalls, proxies, and other network security devices.Troubleshoot network issues and application flow problems.Represent the network team in internal/external technical meetings and provide clear reporting.Create technical documentation, manuals, and procedural guides.Support network segmentation and secure Internet-accessible application services.Profile:Bachelor’s degree or higher.Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex, large-scale IT environments.Deep knowledge of network protocols: IPv4/IPv6, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, BGP, HSRP, VRRP.Hands-on experience with:Palo Alto PanOS: firewalls, IDS/IPS, decryption, sandboxing (PCNSE certification preferred)Cisco: Umbrella, Wi-Fi, ISE, IPSecAlgosec: Firewall Analyzer & Fireflow, ServiceNow integrationAutomation Tools: Terraform, GitLab, AnsibleDaily network operations: configuration changes, patching, troubleshooting, and optimization.Ability to translate security policies into actionable architecture and procedures.Fluent in technical English; French or Dutch mandatory.Strong documentation, project management, and team collaboration skills.Network segmentation and secure Internet service deployment in financial institutions.Involvement in requirement analysis, proof-of-concept, product selection, deployment, and documentation.Interested in this opportunity?
