Job Title: Network ArchitectContract Type: Permanent (Internal Position)Hours: Full-TimeAbout the RoleAs a Network Engineer/Architect Hybrid, you will be responsible for designing, developing, standardizing, and optimizing both cloud-based and on-premise network architectures. You will play a key role in ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performance hybrid infrastructure that aligns with business objectives and industry standards.You will collaborate with various stakeholders to manage and minimize vulnerabilities, enforce governance, and implement best practices across AWS and enterprise network environments. Your expertise in network segmentation, security, and architecture will contribute to the stability, efficiency, and resilience of the overall IT landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement network architectures, including:VPC design, subnetting, routing, NAT, Transit Gateway, and VPC peeringSecurity Groups, NACLs, IAM roles, and cross-account accessNetwork segmentation and application isolation in cloud environmentsArchitect and manage on-premise network infrastructure, including:Network and application segmentationPrivate APN integration and mobile network connectivityRADIUS and AAA infrastructure for secure access controlMPLS, SD-WAN, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutionsCreate detailed architecture diagrams and blueprints for current and future network structuresDocument network topologies, components, and relationships between systems, applications, and usersDevelop and maintain network plans and roadmaps, including capacity, growth, and optimization strategiesPropose network expansions, updates, and new initiatives aligned with strategic goalsAssess and select tools for developing, analyzing, and managing network architectureImplement selected tools and ensure adequate training and adoption across the organizationDevelop and enforce guidelines, standards, and governance for network architecture managementKey RequirementsProven experience in network architecture, security, and cloud infrastructureStrong knowledge of AWS or other cloud infrastructureSolid experience with Cisco and Huawei networking technologiesAbility to modernize and optimize legacy systemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to collaborate across business areasFluent Dutch language skillsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Scrum methodologiesNetwork automation expertiseCisco and Huawei certificationsAWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (required or equivalent skills)AWS Certified Security – Specialty (preferred)
