DriveNets has raised $587 million in three funding rounds which enable us to dream big and bring on the most talented people.The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Architect and to own the end-to-end architecture and technical direction of our multi-tenant, cloud-native network automation platform.ResponsibilitiesDefining reusable microservices, YANG/SID-based data models, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven workflowsTranslating complex business and operational requirements into intent-based automation and closed-loop operationsLeading design reviews and mentoring cross-functional squads (Dev, DevOps, QA)Delivering reference implementations, PoCs, and reusable design blueprintsEmbedding industry standards such as TM Forum ODA, OpenAPI, OpenConfig, NetConf/gNMIPromoting best practices around security-by-design, observability, and reliability (SRE principles)Engaging directly with customers in early-stage discussions and architecture deep-divesCapturing customer requirements and feeding them into the product roadmapDefining policy-driven workflows for provisioning, drift remediation, and zero-touch operationsBuilding analytics pipelines using streaming telemetry, AI/ML, and rules enginesWorking with product managers to break epics into stories and overseeing delivery through CI/CD and test automationRequirements6+ years designing large-scale IP/MPLS or data-center networks3+ years focused on network automationExpert knowledge of NetConf/YANG, gNMI, or REST/JSON-RPC network APIs.Proven track record architecting micro-service or SaaS platforms on Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.Proficiency with automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Salt) and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).Solid understanding of observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and message buses (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Ability to convert complex requirements into clear design artifacts (sequence diagrams, data-flow, ERDs).Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.Nice to haveExperience implementing TM Forum ODA/SID/Open API or 3GPP network-slice management.Familiarity with DriveNets Network Cloud or disaggregated routing architectures.Hands-on with AI/ML pipelines (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for anomaly detection or predictive maintenance.If your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply.
