Job Description

We’re looking for a Network Coordinator to join our client’s IT infrastructure team. In this role, you will play a central part in maintaining the operational stability and future development of a large and complex enterprise network environment. You’ll coordinate network operations, manage incidents and service requests, and support the rollout of next-generation network solutions while ensuring business continuity across critical systems.The RoleAs Network Coordinator, you’ll oversee the day-to-day network operations, ensure compliance with service levels, and act as a key link between technical teams, project stakeholders, and external partners. You’ll contribute to both new technology deployments and legacy infrastructure support, driving continuous improvement and maintaining a secure, high-performing network.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor network projects and operational activitiesManage incidents, service requests, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communicationSupport the deployment and maintenance of Cisco SDA networks and other network modernization initiativesOversee configuration and support for Cisco WiFi access points and related infrastructureCollaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver network solutions on schedule and within scopeMaintain network documentation, plans, and compliance standardsEnsure security and stability across all network layers, including NAC, endpoint protection, VPN, PKI, and IPAMParticipate in project and service management meetings, providing input on network design, performance, and governanceContribute to IT service management practices in line with ITIL principlesThe Ideal CandidateHolds a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experienceAt least 10 years of experience maintaining and supporting IT networks (expert level)Minimum 1 year of experience with Cisco SDA networksAt least 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco WiFi, NAC, VPN, PKI, and IPAMMinimum 3 years of experience with ITSM and ITIL-based environmentsProven experience designing and implementing secure network solutions (minimum of 3 successful projects)Strong background in collaboration with external partners and working under SLAsExperience with public sector procurement processesKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practicesExcellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to perform under pressureFluent in English (C1 level) and either French or Dutch at C2 level, with the second language at least B2Willing to work on-site in Brussels at least two days per week (currently Tuesday and Thursday)Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification required
