Network Design Engineer

We are seeking a Network Design Engineer with strong experience in ICT network systems—both active and passive components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and documenting structured cabling systems, IP networks, IPTV, IP PBX, and Wi-Fi systems, including the generation of wireless heat maps and coordinate the network drawings preparation.⸻Key Responsibilities • Design ICT network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, IPTV, IP PBX, and structured cabling systems. • Generate wireless coverage and heat map designs using professional tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar). • Prepare network riser diagrams, schematic diagrams, and rack elevations. • Develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications. • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and project teams to ensure design compliance. • Review submittals, drawings, and material selections to meet project requirements. • Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases when required.⸻Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in ICT or ELV network design. • Strong knowledge of network topology, fiber and copper cabling standards, switches, routers, servers, and wireless networks. • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Visio for network drawings and documentation. • Familiarity with industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC). • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.⸻Preferred • Experience with hotel, commercial, or large-scale building projects. • 5–7 years of proven experience in ICT or ELV network design. • Certification such as CCNA / CCNP / CCDA / CWNA / BICSI is an advantage.
