You’ll work closely with internal departments, security professionals, and external partners to ensure our network is always a step ahead—resilient, scalable, and secure.Your RoleAs Senior Network / Firewall Engineer, you will:Design and plan scalable, high-performance network infrastructureConfigure and deploy network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs, load balancersImplement and manage VLANs, subnets, VPNs, and cloud network resourcesApply strong security measures to protect against unauthorized access and breachesMonitor network traffic and respond to anomalies, vulnerabilities, and incidentsLead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity issuesManage capacity planning and optimization, including Internet bandwidthCollaborate cross-functionally to align IT services with business needsMentor junior engineers and provide expert technical guidanceManage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologiesEnsure compliance with industry standards and maintain thorough documentationWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years’ experience in network/firewall engineering rolesHands-on experience with FortiGate, Palo Alto, and F5 firewallsStrong knowledge of Cisco and Ubiquiti switching technologiesProven experience with cloud networking across Azure, AWS, or OCIDeep understanding of network security standards and best practicesFamiliarity with network monitoring and vulnerability management toolsExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsStrong project management and coordination capabilitiesPreferred SkillsExposure to automation and scripting for network managementExperience with SD-WAN and hybrid cloud architecturesKnowledge of compliance frameworks and IT governanceLeadership in multi-vendor, multi-site environmentsWhat We OfferOpportunity to contribute to the most iconic projects in the regionA forward-thinking digital team with space for innovation and growthSupportive and collaborative project cultureFull-time on-site position based in the UAEReady to help shape the digital future of construction?If you’re inspired by this opportunity and believe you’re the right fit, we want to hear from you.Join ALEC Building and be a driving force behind digital excellence on world-class projects.Apply today and let’s build something exceptional.
