Lauderdale with nearshore operations in the Dominican Republic.Position Summary:OutPLEX is searching for a Network Engineer to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).Administer and optimize LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and cloud networking components to support distributed BPO operations and remote workforce connectivity.Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, latency, and security issues to meet SLAs.Configure and manage network security controls including segmentation, IDS/IPS, zero-trust access, and secure remote access for global delivery centers.Support cloud migrations and hybrid network architectures, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce policies, compliance requirements, and best practices (e.g., SOC 2, PCI as applicable).Automate network provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management using scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools.Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and operational procedures; contribute to audits and client security assessments common in BPO engagements.Provide Tier 2/3 network support and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 operations across multiple time zones.Evaluate and recommend network and cloud technologies that improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency for outsourcing environments.Bottom of FormUnderstanding of information needed to support business processes and decisions.High level of analytical skills with the ability to assess materiality.Adherence to current policies and procedure to improve service delivery performance is required.Ability to learn new software and hardware, interact positively with others, and successfully manage time.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Must have)Minimum 3 years experience.Experience in BPO spaceAbility to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.Excellent customer service skills in a diverse, decentralized environment.Ability to document procedures and processes for non-technical users.Problem solving and critical thinking skills also required.Virtualization experience.
