Our multinational Partner is looking for anNetwork Engineer (Security focus)to join their teamJob Summary: The Network Security team in Budapest is responsible for maintaining and developing the entire Europe network. Be it office locations, plants, refineries, retail locations or offshore oil platforms, Budapest is supporting the most critical IT backbone of the company.Engineer and implement infrastructure solutions and keep pushing the envelope when it comes to reliability, speed and security using industry standard solutions and manufacturers.Job Responsibilities:Develop and perform implementation activities for all service and customer projects (based on Engineering deliverables)Perform Quality Assurance activities for Engineering designs which include identifying and submitting network design issues to EngineeringUtilize industry standard solutions and manufacturers with the possibility of continuous training to obtain the latest certificates needed for your jobPrimary contact for vendors in support of operational problems.Develop and maintain Technical Support process and deliverables and hand-over of technology and service to operationsDevelop and maintain Network Service Support Models and workflow automationAssist with both development and maintenanceRequired Technical Skills:3-6 years experience in Network EngineeringStrong IT technical foundation and aptitude for fast learningOpen for occasional on-call or after-hours supportDesired Technical Skills:Experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer (strong advantage)Automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible, Nautobot) are a significant plusFamiliarity with switching, routing, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies
