Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Network Inspector to join our Queenstown based Transport and Infrastructure Maintenance team. This is a hand on, diverse, and impactful role that plays a vital part in the ongoing inspection, maintenance, and data collection operations across the district. As a key contributor to our network team, you'll be responsible for supporting drainage inspections, managing traffic counter equipment and data, and ensuring the network is operating efficiently and safely. This position offers a great opportunity to develop technical skills, work outdoors and be part of a collaborative, high performing team environment. Key responsibilities will include; Inspect and prioritise drainage issues across the network, inputting findings into RAMMManually clear culvers as requiredManage traffic counting devises for the client, including setup, retrieval, and maintenanceMaintain scheduling for traffic counter operationsAssist the Network Inspector with inspections and service requestsParticipate in in the after-hours call out roster Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills We are after someone with a positive, can do attitude who enjoys problem solving, working outdoors, and contributing to a supportive team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically capable, and committed to safe work practices.
