Job PurposeThe main purpose of the job holder is to achieve growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's merchant base and ensure its strong presence. Managing objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives. Responsibilities:

To grow market share and cement existing provider relationshipsTo activate and manage the company sales strategyTo identify strategic accounts at regional and country level; to liaise with the Business Development Division to identify and support Group Strategic Account relationships and support in-region activity and troubleshootingTo recommend, report and manage regional sales programs and to agree and meet sales targets for the regionTo manage, monitor and motivate sale teams, locally and regionally for maximum performance and sales metrics achievementsTo report on all aspects of the territory, market intelligence, sales performance, budget management and team performanceTo plan and execute sales training and communication programsMain TasksTo participate in the development of active sales plans for the Botswana.

To check, confirm and monitor sale representatives’ program and manage the sales incentive schemeTo identify and manage all high-level sales meetings and achieve high volume of new closed won accounts throughout the regionTo manage all accounts, review performance (transaction volumes and values) to grow the sales income withManage & supervise new accounts during and after the sales processTo operate and utilize the company CRMTo follow all sale proceduresTo train new and existing sale reps as an ongoing processTo prepare and present sale reportsParticipate in trade showsHighlight future events, trends and gather market intelligence for the region to expandQualifications: Education:

Minimum of 1st degree and appropriate experience. Relevant master's degree an added advantage5+ years or more experience in Business Development/ Sales specifically within the banking, aviation, Travel or Hospitality space. Language: Proficient in English and FrenchExperience Type: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exhibit leadership skills. Good problem-solving skills.

Responsive attitude, tactful, discreet & good at listening & summarizing informationAbility to implement and coordinate business development strategiesStrong business reporting skillsStrong time, task and people management skillsAbility to think strategically and to lead a team successfullyStrong understanding of management communications across divisions and the ability to support and keep line management fully aware of market issuesJob Specific Skills:

Working knowledge of database & integrated payment/banking systemsMinimum 5 years background in frontline sales at management levelWorking knowledge of management systems (performance & budget reporting, team management skills, CRM, basic knowledge of H/R procedure)Solid understanding of BI management for driving sales performance reportingFluent sales presenter & negotiator
