This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate and business needs.You’ll be responsible for monitoring our network and technology deployments, responding to alerts and incidents, and escalating issues internally and with customers when needed. You will be a key part of ensuring that venue networks and temporary event networks stay healthy, resilient, and ready for live operations.This is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on network operations work—watching dashboards, digging into alerts, troubleshooting issues, and keeping stakeholders informed—without having to be on-site at events.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitoring & Incident ResponseMonitor BSN-managed networks, systems, and services using NMS tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or similar platforms)Respond to alerts and alarms, triage issues, and determine severity and impactPerform initial troubleshooting and fault isolation on network infrastructure (routing, switching, wireless, backhaul)Open, update, and manage incident tickets; ensure accurate documentation of findings and actions takenEscalate issues to senior engineers, field technicians, and third parties (ISPs, vendors) when appropriateCustomer & Internal CommunicationCommunicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding active incidents, status, and next stepsProvide concise written updates during and after incidents (email, ticket notes, internal tools)Participate in incident reviews and help identify recurring issues or patternsNetwork Operations SupportSupport venue and temporary event deployments by monitoring pre-event testing, live operations, and post-event tear-down as neededAssist with scheduled maintenance windows, change implementations, and validation testingHelp maintain and improve runbooks, standard operating procedures, and monitoring configurationsSuggest improvements to alert thresholds, dashboards, and workflows to reduce noise and improve responseQualifications3+ years of experience in Network Operations / NOC / Managed Services or a similar roleStrong practical understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, WiFi, basic firewall concepts)Hands-on experience troubleshooting network infrastructure equipment from vendors such as: Cisco Routing/Switching/Firewall, Ruckus Wireless, Siklu Wireless, Cambium Wireless, Ubiquiti UISPExperience using Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) such as Logic Monitor, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar toolsComfortable working with ticketing systems and documenting incidents clearly and thoroughlySolid analytical and troubleshooting skills—able to follow a structured process but also think independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate technical issues in clear, direct languageAbility to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and stay responsive during assigned shiftsWillingness to support evening or weekend coverage at times, aligned with live events and planned maintenance windows
