Network Sales Engineer

Job Description: Job TitleSales Engineer (AI Data Center / Open Network Solutions) BackgroundAs hyperscale AI workloads and next-generation data centers expand rapidly, there is a growing demand for open network solutions such as White Box Switches and SONiC.We are looking to hire a technical Sales Engineer who can engage directly with end customers (e.g. KDDI, SoftBank) to understand their future network architecture needs, and propose optimal open solutions. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers such as telecom customers like KDDI, SoftBank and AI /Non-AI DC customers Understand customer visions and requirements through technical discussions Propose open solutions including White Box Switches and SONiC-based NOS architectures Understand high-level topologies for AI, HPC, and cloud data center networks Lead PoC planning, documentation, and technical presentations while working with Broadcom team in Japan Build relationship with Ecosystem partners like ODM vendors, Sier and NOS developers Serve as a technical liaison with Broadcom Product Divisions Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales, ideally with customers like telecom carriers or cloud operators Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking, EVPN, VXLAN, etc. Familiarity with Cisco ACI - Experience in defining customer requirements and leading technical proposals Strong documentation and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with technical proposals like telecom carriers or cloud operators Knowledge of ethernet switches such as Broadcom, NVIDIA Spectrum Experience with open NOS (SONiC, Cumulus Linux etc.) Familiarity or interested in AI/HPC infrastructure technologies (liquid cooling, RDMA, RoCE) Ability to read technical English documents and communicate with Broadcom BU in US Ideal Candidate Profile Technically credible, capable of co-creating with customers from early planning stages Passionate about open networking technologies and industry trends Strong logical thinking and ability to clearly articulate solutionsR023330
