Network & Systems Engineer

Information About The PositionAs an Associate Network & Systems Engineer, you will contribute in provide 3rd layer support for connectivity team (especially KIC and GIC) in order to maintain a desired level of service for our customers. Manage the devices and services running on Datacenters (keep them up to date and working).JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities of the incumbents are to troubleshoot connectivity problems and be able to identify root cause and fix it proactively. Collaborate with connectivity team to be reactive on their request and consulting constantly the monitoring tool to be proactive on problem identification.Competent to troubleshoot connectivity issue without close supervision. Competent to configure, test different type of secure tunnels that meet defined requirements. Able to analyze a dump of ethernet traffic, identifying eventual anomalies. Works directly on complex technical problem identification and resolution. Works independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems. Create and analyze network schema that document the complexity of delivered services. Manage the network devices in datacenters providing end 2 end connectivityManage linux servers in datacentersCoordinate with product owner to plan, analyze maintain enhancements/upgrades and understand the use of a specific functionality as needed. Collaborate with a team of network & systems engineers to optimize and iterate on connectivity solutions. Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Solar Digital management from time to time. Basic qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Network & Systems engineering. Proven record of strong technical understanding. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production connectivity issues. 3 year or more of relevant industry experience. 3 year or more of experience with designing, delivering and maintaining network infrastructure. 3 year or more of Network & Systems engineering experience:o Good knowledge of Cisco devices for switching and routingGood knowledge network tunneling: IPSec, GREGood knowledge of Linux operating systemGood knowledge of IPtablesStrong understanding of Agile methodology, preferable Scaled Agile Framework. Top candidates will also have:Ability to operate as individual contributor in a small team of developers during implementation of development activities. Interest in working collaboratively with engineering leadership, product owners, Network & Systems engineering and other stakeholders. Ability to work independently with small degree of supervision.
