Job Opportunity: Senior Litigation AssociateOur client, a mid-sized firm based in Bermuda, is currently seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Conducting litigation at various levels of court with a high standard of advocacy skills. Handling general commercial litigation cases with essential experience in trust law. Possessing expertise in matrimonial practice, particularly within the context of trusts, would be advantageous. Conducting thorough legal research and proficiently drafting legal opinions, pleadings, submissions, and related court filings.
Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and external parties, including leading counsel. Managing a busy practice and multitasking to handle several matters simultaneously. Engaging in business development and marketing activities to expand the practice both independently and collaboratively. Supervising, delegating work to, and mentoring junior attorneys. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Possession of a recognized Commonwealth designation. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure, including longer hours when necessary. Demonstrated experience in case management.
