The post holder is required to have an in-depth specialist knowledge of the following ICT Systems, operating in a 24/7 environment, combined with practical experience with a number of the following:

-Windows 10 & 11 OS Desktop SupportWindows 2016, 2019 and 2022 Server Roles & FeaturesSQL Server Console ManagementSCCM Application Deployments / Collection ManagementWindows Remote Desktop ServicesMicrosoft 365 Application Suite SupportAzure AAD / Intune / ExchangeVMware and Azure experiencePowerShell Scripting experienceActive Directory & Group Policy ManagementHardware and Software supportInstallation and configuration of commercial and bespoke software applicationsUnderstanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies and solutionsHelpdesk Ticketing systemsThe post will be based at our office in South Queensferry, Edinburgh. The role involves participating in a 24/7 on call rota. The role will involve some travel throughout Scotland and possible overnight stays.
