Job SummaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly clinical team in Cheltenham caring for 19,300 patients over two sites. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the nursing team and will be respsonsible for participating in the delivery of high-quality patient care. Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will support the practice clinical team in the delivery of nursing services, working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering care within the scope of their practice to the patient population.
General duties include phlebotomy, BP checks, ECGs, healthy lifestyle support, long term condition support, INR checks, new patient health checks, wound care. About UsWeston House Practice is based in St Paul's Medical Centre with a branch surgery at Up Hatherley in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire caring for 19,300 patients across both sites. We are a team of 14 GPs and an extended clinical team of 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 5 Practice Nurses, 2 Nurse Associates, 3 HCAs and 2 Phlebotomists. We are part of a PCN based in St Paul's Medical Centre.
The practice benefits from a multidisciplinary team of Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Practitioners, Paramedics and Social Prescribers.
