Job Description

Oversee delivery and implementation of battery energy storage systems and distributed energy resources in NY metro area. Collaborate with authorities such as ConEd, NYPA and FDNY. Ensure on time and on budget completion of projects. Negotiate with contractors, engineers, architects, governmental entities and utilities as required. Conduct field inspections forcompliance with engineering specifications, safety protocols and codes. Approve division of responsibilities among contractors, vendors, utilities and company. Minimize disruption toquality of life for community. Identify, analyze and mitigate risks related to construction timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance. Implement risk management strategies. Providefeedback on designs, drawings, equipment layout, site feasibility.

Ensure change orders and invoices are reviewed for accuracy. Monitor and report project costs to internal teams. Maintainproject files and logs on contractors' activities. Communicate project status effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: Bach. degree plus 5 years exp. or MS plus 3 yrs exp. Degree should be in Construction Management, Civil Eng. , Bus. Admin. or closely related. Exp. should include familiarity with NY building and construction codes and permit requirements, identifying and mitigating risks related to construction timelines, budgets and reg. compliance. Proficiency with design and doc. tools such as AutoCAD or project-specific engineering platforms.

Exp must include at least two years work with energy storage or electrical infrastructure. Duties include travel w/in NY metro area to job sites approx. 3x week w/in 20-25 miles of Brooklyn office.
