Job Title: Node.js Software Developer and DevOps EngineerLocation: TokyoEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:As a Node.js Software Developer Engineer, you will design and build web applications—frontend, backend, or both—and architect solutions that ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.Architect scalable and secure solutions for cloud-based environments.Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and version control.Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.Must-Have Skills:Strong proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like ReactJS.Expertise in Node.js and server-side programming.Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Experience with Git and code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube).Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)Relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)RESTful services, Swagger/OpenAPIMicroservices and serverless architectureThird-party API integration and AJAXPreferred Qualifications:8+ years of experience in web application development.Experience with full SDLC and DevOps practices (CI/CD, TDD).Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber).
