With strong backing, a flat organization, and bold growth plans, we’re now looking for a skilled Tech Lead to join us and shape the future of small business owners.About The RoleAs our Tech Lead for the Acquisition team, you will lead the development efforts for acquiring new customers to Qred. You will have a crucial role throughout the entire development lifecycle - from planning to execution. You will be an integral part of our team, taking on significant responsibilities while enjoying numerous opportunities for professional development. You will lead and inspire the Acquisition team, working fullstack, help shape our technology stack, influence the technical roadmap, and drive innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesBe accountable for leading the architecture and vision of our applications, both backend and frontend.Maintain a good balance of code quality and developer experience, keeping up with the latest technologies that are out there and ensure our tech stack is always up to date.Provide guidance and mentor our developers to thrive to be the best of themselves through code reviews, pair programming and competence forums.Work closely with the product and engineering managers to create smooth, secure and high-performing user experiences in an agile manner.You will be a member of the tech team that includes all architects and tech leads across all engineering teams. Together, you will advance Qred's tech stack in line with the company's technical strategy.Preferred ExperienceSeveral years of experience with React and Node.js, and a solid understanding of event-driven architecture and serverless solutions in AWS. This isn't just about building; you'll be leading and mentoring the team, owning the technical roadmap, and shaping our tech stack.Believes the best way to have a clean code and architecture is to write tests and ensure security and performance in the implementation.Able to communicate with product managers about the feasibility of business requirements - both technical and design wise.Vibe coding experience from tools such as copilot agent, cursor, claude code, gemini-cli etc in combination with mcp.Experience within onboarding flows is highly preferred.Why join us?This is the place to be if you’re looking for a place to grow.
